About the Role

As a Corporate Learning and Development Specialist at Texas Pipe & Supply, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's learning strategy. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and implement engaging training programs that enhance employee awareness and understanding of corporate practices and expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training Program Development: Develop and implement training programs that address the needs of the organization, focusing on areas such as onboarding, company policies, business ethics, and company culture.
  • Learning Materials Creation: Create effective learning materials, including virtual training sessions, e-learning modules, video tutorials, job aids, manuals, and PDF guides.
  • LMS Management: Administer and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring seamless user account management, course uploads, system configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Content Management: Oversee the upload, testing, and updating of e-learning content, guaranteeing courses function correctly and meet organizational standards.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Generate and analyze reports on user engagement, course completion, and key metrics to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Integration: Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate the LMS with other systems and platforms, ensuring data flow and functionality.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with LMS updates, upgrades, and new features, implementing them as necessary to improve system performance and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in learning and development.
  • Learning Program Organization: Organize and conduct learning programs, including awareness and knowledge building, skills development, continuous improvement, leadership, and professional development.
  • Evaluation and Assessment: Measure and monitor the effectiveness of learning programs, recommending changes to increase program effectiveness, evaluating and assessing input from learners, and devising follow-up learning to meet individual and team needs.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to users, resolving issues related to access, navigation, and course functionality.
Requirements

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for learning and development. The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in training and development, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems and e-learning authoring tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is approximately $85,000 per annum, based on industry standards and the location. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
