Job Title: Senior Urban Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Urban Planner to join our team at Aquent. As a key member of our planning and design team, you will play a critical role in helping municipal leaders develop and maintain communities that are vibrant, sustainable, and responsive to the needs of their citizens.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality planning and design work that meets the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with project teams to deliver creative solutions to complex planning and design challenges.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and community groups to ensure that their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest planning and design trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure that our work is innovative, effective, and sustainable.
Qualifications:
  • An undergraduate or graduate degree in Urban Planning, Urban Design, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in professional planning and/or design positions, whether municipal or private.
  • AICP, NCI, and/or other complimentary professional certifications are a plus.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Apps and TEAMS.
