Responsibilities:
- Provide individual patient assessments and adhere to the Occupational Therapy Standards of Practice and the Occupational Therapy Code of Ethics.
- Requires knowledge of occupational therapy practices, which can be gained only through an accredited program.
- Responsible to provide supervision as needed for Occupational Therapy Assistants, and Level I and II Occupational Therapy students.
Qualifications:
- Requires graduation from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy, certified as an Occupational Therapist and current licensure as an Occupational Therapist, Registered in the State of Minnesota.
- Level II fieldwork experience in psycho-social OT is strongly preferred for newly graduated candidates.
- Ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal form.
- Ability to smoothly and rapidly shift between dissimilar tasks.
- Oriented and educated in gender, cultural, and age appropriate care for the assigned unit.
