Job Title: Building Maintenance Mechanic

The Building Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the repair and maintenance of buildings and equipment. This role involves working on a variety of tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, painting, masonry, heating, and electrical maintenance and repair.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings and equipment
  • Work on various mechanical maintenance fields as needed
  • Operate equipment for maintenance, construction, and snow removal
  • Exercise independent judgment in carrying out work details
  • Supervise the work of Building Maintenance Workers and other subordinate employees
Requirements:
  • One year of experience at a journey-level in one of the skilled building trades
  • Four years of experience in general building construction or maintenance work
  • Equivalent combination of training and experience
