Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation - West (West Orange). As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will perform high-quality ultrasound evaluations of patients and communicate findings to the Radiologist.
This is a per diem/PRN position, with shift hours including Monday and Friday at our West Orange campus and availability to travel to our Saddle Brook and Chester campuses weekdays as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a certificate from a Diagnostic Ultrasound School and certification or certification eligibility by a certified agency, A.R.D.M.S., A.R.R.T., C.C.I. Vascular ultrasound experience and RDMS certification are required.

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Performing ultrasound evaluations of patients
- Communicating findings to the Radiologist
- Assisting in determining needs for equipment, supplies, and maintenance
- Performing clerical duties related to the operation of the department
- Assisting in transporting patients as needed
The minimum requirements for this position are:
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- Certificate from a Diagnostic Ultrasound School
- Certification or certification eligibility by a certified agency, A.R.D.M.S., A.R.R.T., C.C.I.
- Graduated from an accredited Ultrasound program
- Vascular ultrasound experience and RDMS certification
