Job Description

CMS Controls is seeking a highly skilled DDC Technical Operations Manager to lead our programming and startup activities on DDC projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DDC project management, with experience in managing direct reports and driving quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, train, and provide guidance to programmers and startup technicians.
  • Coordinate with DDC Operations Manager and Project Managers to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Set goals and objectives for the team and manage performance accordingly.
  • Drive safety within the team as a point of emphasis.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of DDC Project experience in a technical role.
  • Management experience including experience managing direct reports of 5 or more employees.
  • Direct experience with the construction process of manpower scheduling.
  • Working knowledge of office equipment and Microsoft Office products.
  • Must have a good working knowledge of the building construction trades.
  • Must possess excellent people and organizational skills.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects and tasks at one time.
  • Ability to analyze project data to find opportunities for improvement.
  • Strong comprehension of plans and specifications for construction projects.
  • Flexibility to work outside normal work hours/weekends, as required.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to multitask.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Specific knowledge of Distech, Siemens, Trend and other Tridium based systems is a plus.
