Job Summary

The Loss Control Coordinator is a critical role within our organization, responsible for the receipt, care, inventory, and custody of patient belongings. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, inventory, and store patient belongings in a secure and organized manner
  • Ensure the safekeeping and return of patient belongings to their rightful owners
  • Develop and implement procedures for the receipt, storage, and distribution of patient belongings
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and minimize losses
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of patient belongings, including inventory and distribution
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or some college preferred
