Job Description

At Synectics Inc, we are seeking a skilled Project Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for preparing project takeoffs, quantifying stonework, and researching product pricing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
  • Prepare project takeoffs and quantify stonework according to company procedures.
  • Research and request product pricing for various project bid aspects.
  • Originate RFI's and submit for review.
  • Update and maintain the bid tracking system.
  • Attend pre-bid meetings to understand project scope and requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of an associate degree in Drafting or Construction Management.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction estimating, emphasis on stone masonry.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and contract specifications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and construction-specific software such as Bluebeam.
