Capital Projects Manager Job Summary
This position works with and reports to the AVP Facilities Management and Regional Facilities Manager. The role is responsible for supporting the assigned RFM with managing all facilities-related activities, budgets, and emergency coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the assigned RFM with managing facilities-related activities, budgets, and emergency coverage.
- Assist with outlining, developing, and managing multiple facilities projects as directed by the Area Vice President of Facilities, SVP of Facilities Operations, and other facilities management.
- Follow projects from start to finish, providing support to the assigned RFM.
- Assist in overseeing capital projects on the impacted property or properties as needed.
- Manage vendors' timelines and deliverables, keeping internal contacts aware of any changes, issues, or concerns.
- Work in conjunction with the assigned RFM and Regional Managers to assist in overseeing and reporting to site team members while supporting capital projects to maintain curb appeal per Morgan Properties policies and procedures.
- Immediately available to assist with any property emergency during and after normal work hours related to capital projects.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in project management.
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Yardi Property Management software.
