A Day in the Life of a Project Manager

As a Project Manager at Granger Construction, you will be responsible for overseeing projects from inception to completion, managing budgets, timelines, and resources, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including risk management, quality control, and communication strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, construction, and operations, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Manage and mitigate project risks, including identifying, assessing, and responding to potential issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in building construction management, civil engineering, or equivalent.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive and results-driven approach to project management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in construction-specific software, including ProCore, ViewPoint, or Microsoft Project.
