As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with merchants, driving sales growth, and exceeding performance expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Merchant Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with merchants to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and drive sales growth.
- Sales Pipeline Development: Create and maintain a sales pipeline of quality prospects in the territory, identifying new business opportunities and closing deals.
- Store Visits and Sales: Visit 8-10 stores a day, signing up 10+ new merchant partners a month, and consistently meeting or exceeding established sales goals.
- CRM Utilization: Consistently use American First Finance's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to track sales activities, manage relationships, and analyze sales performance.
- Proven Sales Track Record: Minimum 1 year of demonstrated success in an Outside B2B Sales position, with a proven track record of achieving measurable goals.
- Highly Driven and Motivated: Must be highly driven to exceed performance expectations, with a strong desire to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Excellent Organization and Communication Skills: Excellent organization skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Face-to-Face Selling Experience: Excellent face-to-face selling experience, with a strong ability to build rapport with merchants, understand their needs, and present solutions.
- Self-Motivation and Initiative: Must be a self-motivator, with the ability to create own sales pipeline, identify new business opportunities, and drive sales growth.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate with internal and external constituencies, such as Marketing, Training, Trade, and Sales Operations, to achieve corporate objectives.
- Valid Driver's License and Insurance: Must maintain a valid driver's license and car insurance for travel within assigned territory.
- B2B Sales Experience: Extensive experience in B2B sales presentations, negotiation, and closing, with a strong understanding of sales strategies and tactics.
- Industry Knowledge: Extensive experience in retail consumer finance, merchant services, or SaaS, with a strong understanding of industry trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Competitive Compensation: Industry-leading compensation, including base salary and uncapped commissions, with top performers earning $200k+ per year.
