Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled IML Automation Specialist to join our team. As an IML Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IML automation systems, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily walk-throughs and inspections of IML automation systems to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
- Complete routine maintenance tasks, including Pit Stop PMs, to prevent equipment failures and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with IML automation systems, including label placement adjustments and vision system calibration.
- Collaborate with equipment operators, product operators, and other departments to ensure effective communication and minimize disruptions.
- Participate in maintenance training programs and on-the-job training to develop a skilled and efficient maintenance team.
- Perform job requirements in a safe and professional manner, adhering to company safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience as an IML Technician or in a related field.
- Previous experience with IML systems, including Pages, Muller, and IML Robotix.
- Entry-level knowledge of PLCs, ladder logic, I/O, and machine control devices.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Working knowledge of machine vision systems, including Cognex and Acquire.
- Excellent attendance, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced production environment.
- Physical mobility, including walking, sitting, bending, climbing, twisting, standing, pushing, pulling, and lifting/moving (up to 35 pounds).
- 20/20 vision with correction and ability to differentiate color to detect defects.
- Ability to work around grease, oils, and solvents without adverse reaction.
- Ability to work in a production environment, recognizing various sounds and alarms.
Working Conditions
This is a 3rd shift position, working from 7:00pm to 7:00am. The starting pay is $21.60/hr.
