We are seeking highly skilled Healthcare Professionals to join our team as Substitute Nurses at the Stratford Board of Education. As a Substitute Nurse, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and staff within our district.

Compensation

The compensation for this role includes a competitive per diem rate of $245.00 per day for Registered Nurses (RN) and $175.00 per day for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN). This hourly wage is calculated based on the expected number of hours worked per day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care and support to students and staff
  • Collaborate with school administrators and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective health services
  • Conduct health assessments and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations regarding student health and safety
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A current RN or LPN license in good standing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
