Job Description
As a Building Services Specialist with CBRE Global Workplace Solutions, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and functionality of our facilities. Your expertise in maintenance and repair will ensure that our buildings operate efficiently and safely, while your attention to detail and organizational skills will help us achieve our goals.

Your responsibilities will include inspecting building systems, performing assigned repairs and maintenance tasks, and overseeing the work of outside contractors. You will also be responsible for maintaining an energy management program to reduce operating costs and minimize environmental impact.

About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Performing complex maintenance and repair tasks, including welding, carpentry, furniture assembly, and locksmith tasks as needed.
  • Reviewing assigned work orders, estimating time and materials needed to complete repair, and ordering necessary materials and supplies.
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including completion of maintenance and repair records as required.

Salary
$65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of four years of related experience and/or trade school training.
  • Universal CFC certification preferred, strong electrical knowledge preferred.
  • Certification in one or more of the following: electrical, mechanical, HVAC and refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair.
