Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Auto Damage Estimator Specialist to join our team at Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely auto repair estimates that meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain high-quality appraisal processes in accordance with industry best practices, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare detailed damage appraisals that reflect the actual cost of repairs, using proper methods, materials, and equipment.
- Analyze damage assessments to determine the most cost-effective repair or replacement options.
- Evaluate relatedness of damages to the incident or claim.
- Negotiate with repair shops and salvage dealers to secure the best possible prices for parts and labor.
- Maintain excellent relationships with repair shops, vendors, and agency personnel to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Identify potential fraud and subrogation opportunities and refer them to the appropriate authorities.
- Submit regular reports to management on claims activity, expenses, and other relevant metrics.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and emerging risks to maintain expertise and provide informed advice to customers and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in auto body repair or estimating, preferably in an insurance environment.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with ability to make accurate calculations and assess complex data.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
Compensation:
The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
