Student Services Specialist Senior

The Student Services Specialist Senior in Admissions, Records, and Registration is responsible for providing high-level support to students, staff, and faculty with complex enrollment-related duties. This role requires a strong understanding of college, state, and federal rules and policies to resolve complex enrollment issues, complaints, and troubleshooting of software and equipment utilized in the department.
Key Responsibilities- Perform technically complex functions related to admissions, records, and registration, including graduation processing, athletic compliance, 3rd party enrollment, transcript evaluation, special admissions, and National Student Clearinghouse error resolution reports.
- Monitor quality assurance to ensure accuracy of completed transactions, coordinate and maintain admissions, records, and registration reports, spreadsheets, databases, documents, and service account correspondence between students, faculty, and staff.
- Support the Admissions and Records department by assisting with service to students, project deadlines, and department goals, troubleshooting software, responding to issues and complaints, and updating enrollment records and correcting error reports using the Student Information System.
- Assist with the department workflow by assigning staff to alternative job functions according to the needs of the business, compiling and preparing data for the supervisor, and performing other duties assigned by the Manager of Admissions and Records.
The ideal candidate will possess an Associate's degree from a regionally accredited institution and two years of student services or college teaching experience or experience assisting with educational program development and coordination, student advisement, financial aid, or related student development programs.
Desired qualifications include a Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution, two or more years of experience working in an Admissions, Records, and Registration office at a postsecondary educational institution, and proficiency in using, creating, maintaining, and editing Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets and/or Google Sheets and/or other student record databases.
