Position Overview: The Demand Planning Manager at Country Life is responsible for the creation and maintenance of accurate forecasts for all finished goods SKUs, ensuring alignment with monthly sales objectives across various brands.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate monthly S&OP meetings focused on demand planning, reviewing forecast accuracy from the previous month, current adjustments, and future projections by month.
  • Develop and manage SKU-level forecasts for all company brands.
  • Enhance the forecasting process based on historical performance, adapting methods by SKU as needed.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with the sales team to identify peak and low sales periods for each SKU.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to incorporate new product introductions into the forecast while determining which items to exclude.
  • Work alongside the marketing team to assess product performance in the market and adjust demand plans accordingly.
  • Identify the transition point from marketing-driven forecasts to statistical forecasts.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for significant over and under forecasts by brand and month.
  • Oversee the demand planning segment of the ERP system implementation.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in demand planning.
  • Experience with S&OP processes.
  • Ability to operate independently to resolve daily challenges and recognize when to escalate issues to management.
  • Proficiency in developing reports and processes from the ground up.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field, or seven (7) years of relevant experience.
  • Preferred experience in the pharmaceutical or nutraceutical sectors.
  • Exceptional skills in Excel and strong computer proficiency (ERP/MRP systems, MS Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and attention to detail with a focus on deadlines.
  • APICS Certification is a plus.
