Job Summary

The Associate Vice President for Strategic Enrollment Management is a key leadership position responsible for driving the strategic execution of enrollment management initiatives across the division. This role requires a deep understanding of business and campus operations, as well as the ability to lead a collaborative team in support of institutional goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the SEM division in innovation and execution of significant program change management.
  • Liaise with the VP for SEM to make decisions and recommendations regarding operational needs and strategic initiatives.
  • Review regulatory information and documents as necessary, bringing sensitive matters forward and making recommendations to the VP.
  • Develop and monitor the division's strategy to ensure alignment with the evolving competitive environment and risk appetite.
Requirements

A Master's degree in business administration, educational leadership, public policy, or a related field, along with eight years of experience in higher education, business operations, project management, or a related field, is required for this position. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Benefits

The anticipated hiring range for this role is $175,000 - $200,000. Cal Poly offers a best-in-class benefits program, including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement participation in the Public Employees' Retirement System, and educational benefits for eligible employees.
