Job Title: Survey Technician

NV5 is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Survey Technician to join our team in Alpharetta, GA. As a Survey Technician, you will assist the Crew Chief and Survey Coordinator in completing survey assignments in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate survey total station and level instruments to collect data and measurements.
  • Organize and maintain survey field equipment, including transporting and setting up instruments.
  • Assist in recording measurements and performing calculations.
  • Implement safety plans and risk mitigation measures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Clear vegetation or debris as directed for surveying measurements.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Entry-level position, 0+ years of experience.
  • Ability to travel and work in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license, clean background check, and drug screening.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:

This position requires working in outdoor environments, including extreme temperatures, dusty and noisy conditions. You must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Weekend and overtime work may be required.
