Job Description

This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment where you will be part of a collaborative team of experienced veterinarians and support staff. Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality medical care to various animal patients, including conducting thorough physical examinations, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, performing surgical procedures as needed, and administering vaccinations and medications.

You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and detailed medical records, collaborating with other veterinarians and support staff to ensure the highest level of patient care, staying current on industry developments and advancements in veterinary medicine, and participating in team meetings to contribute ideas for improving processes and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
  • A current state veterinary license
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting, or new graduates who are eager to learn and grow
  • Strong surgical skills and experience with a variety of surgical procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • An ability to work well in a team environment
  • A passion for providing exceptional care to animals and their owners
