">We understand the unique needs of patients and families facing terminal illness. Liberty Hospice provides state-of-the-art care and pain management services, delivered by specially trained staff with emphasis on strength, dignity, and compassion.
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in Pitt and Edgecombe Counties.
Job Description:
- Apply nursing theories and concepts to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Coordinate physical care of patients with family, patient, physician, and Hospice team.
- Communicate effectively with patients/families at all levels.
- Attend IDT meetings and quality review as scheduled by the agency.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in state of practice, successful completion of a nursing education from an approved school of nursing, and two years of clinical nursing experience.
- Knowledge of home health and hospice care programs and the nurse's role as a member of the patient care team.
- Working knowledge of principles and practice of nursing according to nursing practice act, agencies' policies, and procedures.
- CPR certification.
Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
