POSITION: ORTHOPEDIC MEDICAL ASSISTANT

ORGANIZATION: LifeBridge Health

WORK SCHEDULE: Full-time - Day shift - 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

SUMMARY:
As an Orthopedic Medical Assistant, you will work under the direct guidance of a physician to provide essential support in orthopedic care. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Applying, adjusting, and removing orthopedic devices such as casts and splints.
  • Assembling and attaching traction equipment for patient care.
  • Administering various orthopedic treatments and assisting in patient positioning for procedures.
  • Removing sutures and staples as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants should possess a basic professional knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor's degree, along with 1-3 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting. Certification in CPR from the American Heart Association is required. A valid driver's license is also necessary for potential travel to offsite locations as needed.

TRAINING:
If you are not experienced in casting techniques, comprehensive training will be provided, with the expectation of proficiency by the end of a designated probationary period.
