POSITION: ORTHOPEDIC MEDICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST

TYPE: Full-time - Day shift

SUMMARY:
As an Orthopedic Medical Support Specialist, you will work under the guidance of a physician to provide essential support in orthopedic care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Applying, adjusting, and removing orthopedic devices such as casts and splints.
  • Assembling and utilizing orthopedic traction equipment.
  • Administering various orthopedic tools and assisting in the removal of sutures and staples.
  • Positioning patients for orthopedic procedures to ensure optimal care.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
  • A foundational understanding of medical practices, equivalent to a Bachelor's degree.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
  • A valid Driver's license and American Heart Association CPR Certification.

New hires lacking experience in casting techniques will receive training and are expected to achieve proficiency within a designated probationary period.
