Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MDS Coordinator/Floor Nurse to join our team. As a member of our healthcare staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of care for our residents while maintaining compliance with federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

This full-time position combines the responsibilities of managing resident assessments with direct nursing care under the guidance of the Director of Nursing. Key duties include:

  • Collaborating with DON, CRM (where applicable), and various disciplines to complete the Minimum Data Set (MDS) and Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI)
  • Ensuring completion of assessments within mandated timeframes
  • Managing resident assessment processes and tracking case mix documents for optimal reimbursement
  • Assisting with resident care planning processes under the direction of the DON or CRM (where applicable)
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Graduation from a School for Registered Nursing
  • Minimum 1 year of previous experience in an MDS/Clinical Reimbursement Nurse role
  • Current State Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state where practicing
  • CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certifications
  • First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
  • Food handlers certification (where required)
