Job Title: Vice President of Investment Banking

Alantra is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Investment Banking to join its team in Boston, MA, or New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Industrials M&A and a proven track record of success in investment banking.

Job Summary:

The Vice President of Investment Banking will be responsible for managing mandates, directing project teams, and building M&A process expertise. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and modeling skills, as well as strong client management skills. They will also be able to provide direction and leadership to build a strong team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage mandates and direct project teams to deliver high-quality results
  • Develop and implement M&A strategies to drive business growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and third-party advisors
  • Provide expert financial analysis and modeling to support M&A transactions
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members to ensure their growth and development
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
  • 2-3 years of investment banking experience at the Associate level required
  • Industrials M&A experience preferred
  • Established and strong professional track record in M&A
  • Expertise in all phases of project management
  • Results-oriented and focused on producing high-quality results
  • Objective and constructive problem solver
  • Able to provide direction and leadership to build a strong team environment
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong client management skills
  • Excellent analytical and modeling skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills; Expert in Excel and PowerPoint
  • FINRA Series 79/7 and 63 licenses are required, or to be obtained within the first six months of employment
