Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team at Smartech Security. In this role, you will be responsible for generating leads, attracting new clients, and closing deals. Your key responsibilities will include data gathering, proposal submission, building rapport with new and existing customers within your territory, evaluating their needs, and negotiating successful deals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to identify new business opportunities.
  2. Travel to appointments and meetings with potential and existing customers within your territory to build trust and establish a strong presence.
  3. Meet or exceed designated sales targets by creating and implementing an effective sales strategy, including lead generation through prospecting, networking, and cold calling.
  4. Conduct thorough research to identify potential clients and understand their security needs, and develop customized solutions based on client requirements and company offerings.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams, including technical experts and project managers, to design comprehensive security solutions and prepare and deliver sales presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
  6. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to close deals and support collection efforts.
  7. Follow up with clients to ensure continued engagements and satisfaction, and to address any concerns.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market development to provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.
Qualifications

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Executive with a proven track record of success in B2B sales, with at least 3 years of experience in the physical security industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of physical security products and solutions, experience in lead generation, prospecting, and sales pipeline management, excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will also have proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, a valid driver's license and clean driving record, and a willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events. Flexible work from home options are available.
