Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Studio Operations Manager to join our team at Austin Fitness Group. As an Assistant Studio Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the operational excellence of our Orangetheory Fitness studio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff Management: Manage, monitor, develop, and evaluate the performance of staff to ensure they meet sales and operational goals.
  • Sales and Marketing: Work collaboratively with the Studio Manager to develop and implement marketing strategies to increase membership performance.
  • Studio Operations: Oversee all studio operations, including training, development, and performance management of sales associates and fitness team members.
  • Leadership: Provide daily and weekend leadership and direction to the sales and fitness staff.
  • Recruitment and Training: Recruit, hire, train, and schedule OTF studio staff in assigned locations.
  • Disciplinary Actions: Assist in the management of disciplinary actions involving all OTF studio employees.
  • Performance Metrics: Meet performance metrics, including revenue, ordering, inventory, payroll, cost controls, and facilities maintenance.
  • Sales and Outreach: Direct sales through company required outreach programs and cultivate and maintain increased OTF class size through scheduling tools.
  • Customer Service: Provide timely and effective decision-making regarding customer service issues.
  • Event Planning: Plan and promote special events for the studio on a monthly basis, using OTF tools for effective outreach and community involvement.
  • Facility Maintenance: Ensure that the facility is clean, maintained, and operationally efficient.

Requirements:

  • Customer Service: Respond promptly to studio facility needs, member requests for service and assistance, and anticipate the needs of the studio, staff, and members.
  • Leadership: Possess high energy and the ability to motivate a large group of people.
  • Communication: Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to address/respond in a clear, concise, and respectful manner.
  • Decision Making: Exercise independent judgement and make decisions that are in the best interest of OTF.
  • Teamwork: Demonstrate a high interest in collaborating cross-functionally.
  • Integrity: Possess honesty, integrity, and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Sales Experience: Required
