Job Summary:

The Speech-Language Pathologist will administer prescribed speech-language therapy plans of care to restore function, prevent disability, and promote maximum activity performance. This role requires a Master's or doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a Rhode Island Speech-Language Pathologist license. Experience in acute care, rehabilitation, and outpatient settings is preferred.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and treat patients with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Provide patient and family education on speech and language development
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements:
  • Master's or doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Rhode Island Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • Experience in acute care, rehabilitation, and outpatient settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions:

The Speech-Language Pathologist will work in a home care setting, providing direct care to patients in their homes. This role requires the ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, carry, walk, ascend/descend stairs, and manage therapy-related equipment.
