Job Title: School-Based Speech Language Pathologist

ProCare Therapy is seeking a skilled and compassionate School-Based Speech Language Pathologist to provide exceptional speech and language therapy services to students with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language skills, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals based on assessment findings and student needs.
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, including articulation therapy, language intervention, and communication strategies.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to integrate speech and language strategies into the classroom environment and daily routines.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' progress, therapy plans, and session notes.
  • Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and special education, and engage in ongoing professional development and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
  • Experience in a school-based setting or working with children with diverse needs.
  • Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology principles, techniques, and best practices.
