Job Title: Diesel Engine Technician

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Engine Technician to join our team at Central Power Systems & Services. As a Diesel Engine Technician, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of diesel engines and generators.

Job Summary:

The Diesel Engine Technician will be responsible for:

  • Removing, disassembling, and evaluating engine components
  • Repairing and maintaining engine components as needed
  • Sending key parts for machining
  • Reassembling engines
  • Keeping detailed records of all work performed
  • Communicating with parts department, shop foreman, and service writers
Requirements:

To be successful as a Diesel Engine Technician, you will need:

  • Minimum of two years engine building experience
  • Experience with heavy-duty diesel engines and generators
  • Experience with MTU, PSI, and other diesel brands
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with software and tablet systems
  • Ability to lift over 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods
  • Pass pre-employment testing (background and drug test)
