Fleet Maintenance Technician

The Fleet Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of company vehicles and equipment. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail to diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on all vehicles and equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA and DOT regulations.
- Repair and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with company vehicles and equipment.
- Work Order Management: Read and interpret work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Quality Control: Verify all work is complete and safe to operate.
- Inventory Management: Assist with maintaining shop tools and material inventory.
- Customer Service: Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and customers.
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Experience: 2+ years of related experience in operating, repairing, and maintaining vehicles and equipment.
- Technical Skills: Working knowledge of all tools and equipment to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair possible problems with gas and/or diesel engine, electronic and non-electronic; transmissions, manual and automatic as well as electronic; vehicle suspensions; braking systems, air and mechanical as well as ABS systems.
