Job Title: Donor Center Phlebotomist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Donor Center Phlebotomist to join our team at the American Red Cross. As a phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in collecting lifesaving blood donations that are delivered to hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with your team to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for volunteer donors.
  • Follow all safety procedures while collecting blood donations.
  • Utilize your healthcare and/or customer service skills to assist with every step of the blood collection process.
Requirements:
  • Associates degree or a combination of education and work experience.
  • Minimum of one year customer service experience in a public setting.
  • A current, valid driver's license with a good driving record may be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior healthcare or phlebotomy experience (CNA, MA, EMT, etc.).
  • Prior leadership experience.
