About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at DaVita. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients with end-stage renal disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
  • Perform technician duties, such as measuring and recording vital signs, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup
  • Build long-term relationships with patients and their families, educating them on kidney dialysis-related topics
  • Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, and social workers

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be comfortable working around blood and needles
  • Must be able to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
  • BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
