Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Orthopedic Injury Clinic team in St. Charles County. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working closely with our orthopedic specialists to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including obtaining patient history, performing assessments, and developing treatment plans.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic studies, perform preventative health assessments, and provide direct treatment and management of acute and chronic disease conditions.
  • Develop and implement patient-centered plans of care in collaboration with physicians, patients, and other healthcare providers.
  • Manage health conditions via prescriptive authority or referral to other healthcare providers or community resources.
  • Provide counseling and education to patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options, and community resources.
Requirements
  • Master of Science in Nursing with emphasis in the Nurse Practitioner program or graduate of PA program.
  • Advanced Practical Nurse licensure or ability to successfully obtain licensure within three months of date of hire.
  • Current PA licensure to practice in the state of Missouri and/or Illinois depending on location or ability to obtain within three months of date of hire.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of NP/PA theory and practice with one to three years of experience.
  • Organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
