Job Summary:

Protouch Staffing is seeking a skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team in Columbus, GA. As a Mental Health Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric care to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prescribe, direct, administer, and/or monitor psychotherapeutic treatments or medications or treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders in adults and children.
Gather and maintain patient information and records, including social or medical history obtained from patients, relatives, or other professionals.
Develop a treatment plan according to the needs of the patient's needs and extent of emotional, social, cognitive, developmental, or behavioral disorder, and will consult with the patient's Primary Care Physician (PCP) or other healthcare providers.
Write and maintain patient and clinical records, including the type of treatment and medication administered.

Requirements:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with degree from an accredited college/university.
Completion of approved psychiatric residency.
Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE).
Must hold medical license to practice in the state of Georgia.
DEA Certification.
