About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our Aftermarket team at Alstom. As a key member of our Services NAM (Americas) organization, you will provide engineering expertise and technical solutions to our Business Units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and prevent obsolescence through supplier agreements and partnerships.
  • Design and reverse-engineer solutions for aftermarket customers.
  • Develop and maintain data analysis and handling skills in GSI, SAP, 360, Power BI, IPC, and manuals.
  • Report and present data insights to internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Procure and manage parts and components for aftermarket customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement engineering solutions.
Requirements
  • University or technical college degree in Railway Engineering or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of industry-related experience.
  • Strong data analysis and handling skills.
  • Knowledge of rail industry standards and design.
  • Ability to work with multiple data systems and tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of rolling stock systems and components.
  • Knowledge of safety management systems and safety risk assessment.
  • Proficient in CATIA V5, MS Office, SAP, GSI, Maximo, and other ERP tools.
  • Knowledge of Alstom Design for Quality processes.
  • PMP, Six Sigma Green Belt, or higher.
