Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Team Member to join our team at St. Louis County, MO. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and installations to ensure the smooth operation of our buildings and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including minor repairs, preventive maintenance, and building systems maintenance.
  • Assist skilled trades workers with tasks such as moving furniture, setting up and breaking down special event equipment, and performing other related duties.
  • Perform electrical, plumbing, and HVAC maintenance, repair, and installation work associated with various systems and equipment.
  • Conduct inspections and tests to identify and report any issues or defects in building systems and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or apprenticeship training in a skilled building systems trade preferred.
  • Minimum one year of building maintenance or custodial experience required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a variety of environments, including outdoors in extreme temperatures and inclement weather. The successful candidate must be able to lift, push, pull, and move heavy equipment and materials as needed.
