Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at UCHealth. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and handling instruments and equipment with precision.
  • Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and supplies for procedures, ensuring that all necessary items are available and in good working order.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of surgical procedures, including patient information, surgical techniques, and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination during surgical procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or Associate's degree preferred.
  • Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Surgical Assistant (CSA) required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification also required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and individuals.
