The ideal candidate will have proven experience in hotel banquet operations, high-end hotel property preferred, and strong knowledge of food service operations. They will also possess excellent customer service skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction, and the ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve operational goals.

We are Madison's premiere location for weddings, corporate meetings, and social events. This experienced banquet director/manager will be creative and collaborate with our events team to produce amazing events throughout the property.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct interviews, hire, train, and supervise staff members.
  • Create schedules and manage shift rotations effectively.
  • Oversee total banquet operations- Experience managing up to 30,000 sq feet of event space
  • Banquet Director Experience:
    • Proven experience in hotel banquet operations. High end hotel property preferred
    • Strong knowledge of food service operations
    • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
    • Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve operational goals.
    • Experience in conducting interviews, hiring, and training staff members.
    • Experience overseeing large event spaces with multiple event venues
