Job Summary:

As a key member of the Raymond James team, the Branch Manager will be responsible for leading a team of associates within the Private Client Group Services (PCGS) department. This role will involve managing day-to-day operations, resolving escalated issues, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage human resource activities, including performance evaluations, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Interpret and apply organizational policies and procedures, making recommendations for changes as needed.
  • Establish objectives and develop processes to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Coordinate with financial advisors and branch managers to identify needs and implement solutions.
  • Perform periodic reporting on work progress and project completions.
  • Ensure effective coordination between assigned functional areas and other departments.
  • Balance conflicting resource and priority demands.
  • Use financial data and performance indicators to establish control mechanisms and improvement initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison between the PCGS department, other departments, and outside vendors.
  • Provide department updates on changes in products and services.
  • Document and maintain records of FA issues.
  • Arrange branch visits to local and regional offices.
  • Review and approve applications for branch cashiering.
  • Participate in Home Office Visits.
  • Oversee technology coordination for new RJA offices.
  • Remain aware of firm and industry current events and best practices.
