Position Summary:

Our front counter associates are dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service in every interaction. They ensure that every guest is welcomed with a smile and that all orders meet Miguel's standards for a remarkable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inputting food orders using the cash register POS system.
  • Managing cash and credit transactions with care and efficiency.
  • Delivering food to guest tables.
  • Preparing takeout orders with attention to detail.
  • Keeping the salsa bar, drink lids, and napkins well-stocked throughout the shift.
  • Ensuring fresh coffee, unsweetened tea, lemonade, and horchata are available.
  • Maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant, including restrooms.
  • Assisting in addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Taking pride in serving guests and providing outstanding service.
  • Conducting daily food safety HACCP checks.
  • Completing additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to handle cash and credit transactions effectively.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication abilities.
  • Must provide a food handler's card upon hiring.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
