Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and service customers with genuine enthusiasm, adapting your style to suit their needs and preferences.
  • Manage customer flow to deliver a five-star experience, meeting all service vows and operational checklists.
  • Provide exceptional service to multiple customers at once, addressing concerns with confidence and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Promote alterations services and personalization options, effectively communicating the value of alterations in perfecting the dress for special events.
  • Maintain store standards, including cleanliness, organization, and promotional readiness, to support a flawless shopping experience.
  • Press, steam, and spot clean merchandise, adhering to quality control guidelines and inspecting garments to ensure pristine condition.
  • Build long-term relationships with customers, meeting and exceeding their satisfaction and loyalty expectations.
  • Support inventory management, processing special orders, pick-ups, and first-quality standards for all merchandise.
  • Process transactions with accuracy, ensuring every customer feels celebrated.
  • Seek assistance from the Alterations Manager to address customer issues that cannot be resolved.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized alterations room.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent degree.
  • 1-2 years of prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment.
  • Prior sewing experience is helpful.
  • Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) systems.
