Job Title: Preschool Director

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Preschool Director to lead our preschool team at our new Jensen Beach school campus.

About the Role:
  • Oversee the daily operation of the school, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for students.
  • Collaborate with the Administrative Director to assess school needs, develop a school improvement plan, and implement changes to achieve performance objectives.
  • Enforce early childhood education federal, state, and local statutes, and comply with audit requirements and Health Department policies.
  • Provide proactive leadership for the school, planning and implementing school improvement initiatives.
  • Implement a challenging curriculum, train and evaluate teacher performance, and provide staff development opportunities.
  • Enhance decision-making capabilities, develop new skills, and gather data to inform improvement initiatives.
  • Provide effective communication with parents, colleagues, teachers, students, and the community.
  • Encourage parent involvement, community engagement, and increased literacy in reading, writing, and mathematics.
Qualifications:
  • Florida Preschool Director's Credential with VPK Director Endorsement.
  • Preferred Trauma-Informed Care Endorsement.
  • Preferred bachelor's degree in early childhood or related field.
  • Ability to meet all minimum eligibility requirements to be a member of Family Church.
  • Affirm the Family Church Network statements of belief and practices.
  • Maintain a close and healthy walk with the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Maintain a high standard of excellence and moral character.
  • Demonstrate ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow.
  • Professional and positive demeanor.
  • Record of consistent, high-level performance.
  • Successful teaching experience.
  • Leadership ability, including motivating school personnel.
  • Knowledge of school-related data and ability to utilize such data for decision-making purposes.
  • Able to interact collaboratively with students, parents, teachers, staff, and church administration.
