Job Summary:The Preschool Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the quality of our Head Start programs, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and providing support to our staff to improve program outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor quality and compliance at assigned sites, including education files, licensing requirements, and referral systems.
- Assess curriculum implementation and provide CLASS observations for teaching staff.
- Provide support and resources to staff on mental health, nutrition, education, and social services.
- Assist in the provision of parent training and education on community resources and child development.
- Generate and analyze reports to inform quality improvement strategies.
- Collaborate with the QA Manager and Director of Compliance and Accountability to ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards.
- Bachelor's degree in social work, social services, early childhood education, or a related field.
- Two years of experience working in a social services or education management position.
- Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish or other languages present in the local area).
