About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Real Estate & Construction Budget Analyst to join our team at Tailored Brands, Inc. This exciting opportunity will involve coordinating various aspects of budgeted and expense analysis for the real estate department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the analysis of project timelines, budgets, and schedules to recommend and implement more efficient processes.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on reinvestment opportunities, budget performance, highlighting key metrics and variances.
  • Analyze and maintain construction cost based on trades, design materials, geographical area, square footage. Examine and investigate trends in spend across various segments.
  • Perform post-project cost analysis to document trends in change orders across multiple project types.

Budget Development & Monitoring and Control

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop comprehensive budgets for all department budgets.
  • Track actual expenditures ensure adherence to approved budgets and identify variances.
  • Work with teams to address budget overruns or unexpected costs in a timely manner.

Collaboration

  • Work with stakeholders to Identify opportunities to streamline budgeting processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Support presentation needs and manage the execution of enhanced reporting needs for the department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, construction, business management, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in budgeting, cost control, or financial analysis required.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software tools (PeopleSoft financials, Oracle Essbase, or similar. Coupa familiarity a plus)
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with complex financial information.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing financial challenges.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily.
  • Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment.
  • Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, from a remote office location

The starting salary for this position is $54,600 – $90,900 and may increase to $113,700 depending on merit, length of service with the Company, and other factors. We take into consideration an individual's skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
