Position Summary
We are currently in search of a Senior Business Analyst to become a vital part of our team, contributing to a significant and long-term initiative.

Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Identifying, developing, and articulating requirements aimed at enhancing tools that optimize processes, thereby increasing efficiency and improving essential performance metrics.
  • Utilizing various methodologies to lead meetings and workshops, fostering a collective understanding among stakeholders, and engaging team members to create comprehensive product and portfolio roadmaps.
  • Working collaboratively with stakeholders and product teams to break down extensive epics into manageable features and user stories that are clear and actionable for the development team.
  • Facilitating planning sessions and increments with clients and team members to ensure that the planned tasks are well-defined, organized, and comprehensible.
  • Assisting fellow business analysts, team leaders, clients, and other team members in leveraging Jira as an Agile Lifecycle Management Tool to monitor progress across multiple product teams.
  • Providing support and guidance in the effective use of Jira for tracking work progress against larger projects and various work types.
  • Communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and presenting findings and recommendations in an understandable manner.

Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Common Access Card (CAC)
- Capability to secure and uphold a position of Public Trust with the U.S. Government
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a business analyst within the federal government
- At least 3 years of experience applying Agile methodologies
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
- Proficient in communicating with both technical and non-technical personnel

Preferred Skills:
- Scrum Master Certification
