About Raytheon Vision Systems:

Raytheon Vision Systems (RVS) specializes in the design and production of advanced focal plane arrays and camera systems utilized across various sectors including defense, surveillance, space exploration, and meteorological tracking.


Manufacturing Operations:
RVS operates through two primary manufacturing divisions: (1) Focal Plane Operations and (2) Camera & Sensor Packaging. This role serves as an individual contributor, directly reporting to the Associate Director of Materials Planning (SIOP). The selected candidate will execute production control and material management functions to support the Camera & Sensor Packaging division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize MRP systems to assess material needs and initiate purchase requisitions to the Supply Chain for material replenishment.
  • Evaluate raw material inventories and generate reports on manufacturing progress within an Integrated Product Team (IPT) framework.
  • Request materials from inventory to prepare kits for higher-level assemblies.
  • Issue work orders and monitor sub-assemblies and top-level assemblies across multiple production facilities.
  • Analyze work-in-progress (WIP) to assess program status.
  • Conduct physical inventory counts in the lab to ensure sub-assemblies are readily available for production.
  • Collaborate with factory management, product management, and program management to prioritize materials and assemblies in alignment with the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
  • Work with quality assurance, manufacturing engineering, and other teams to address material discrepancies promptly.
  • Assist the logistics team in facilitating end-of-month shipments to clients.

Required Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree with less than 2 years of relevant experience is typically required. Candidates must possess the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance, and U.S. citizenship is mandatory for clearance eligibility.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
  • Familiarity with material requirements planning (MRP) systems.
  • Experience with SAP.
