About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Financial Support Specialist to join our team at Ensemble Health Partners. As a key member of our revenue cycle management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and collect patient liabilities, including copays, deductibles, co-insurance, and balances after financial assistance.
  • Utilize face-to-face communication with patients to collect estimated patient liability.
  • Work with patients to sign consent forms and ensure accurate and timely collection of payments.
  • Monitor missed collection opportunities and implement process improvements to optimize revenue cycle performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and efficient collection of patient payments.
Requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using various software systems and tools to manage patient data and collections.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve collection issues.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
