G1 Facility Services is a leading provider of facility maintenance, preventative maintenance, and construction services. We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our dynamic team in Newark, New Jersey.

Job Responsibilities:
Plan and implement electrical projects from start to finish according to specifications and code
Troubleshoot, repair, and install AC and DC circuits of various voltages, power distribution systems, fire detection/suppression systems, HVAC systems, VFD's and Programmable Logic Controllers, motor controllers, lighting systems, and controls
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
Ensure all work is completed on time and within budget
Maintain PMs and WOs for all areas of responsibility using the facility's CMMS system
Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers
Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices
Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code

Requirements:
Must have at least four (4) years of relevant work experience
Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and all applicable codes and standards
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Good physical condition and ability to work in various environments and heights
Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician
Must have a valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision is subjected to our automobile insurance carrier's criteria

Shift:
6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday to Friday
Compensation:
$50.00 - $55.00 per hour (Based on experience), medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401k
