Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Assembly Specialist to join our team at Software Galaxy Systems. As an essential member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for building, testing, and inspecting electro-mechanical assemblies to meet our high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and test electro-mechanical assemblies, including sub-assemblies and system-level hardware.
  • Perform in-process testing and inspection of products being manufactured.
  • Complete Device History Record data and maintain accurate records.
  • Support reconditioned hardware assembly and testing, as required.
  • Perform packaging functions in Instruments Manufacturing, as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with policies QSR, ISO, EH, and S.
  • Proficiency with basic hand tools, including screwdrivers, wrenches, torque tools, terminal crimpers, and soldering irons.
  • Ability to follow written instructions, including assembly procedures, test procedures, and mechanical assembly drawings.
  • Experience with basic mechanical inspection equipment, such as calipers and indicators.
  • Experience with basic electrical test equipment, such as multimeters.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience and/or training.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and lifting/moving products weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and moderate noise levels.
  • Exposure to hazardous chemicals or other materials, with proper PPE provided.
